This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It applies to stardustgt.com and to inquiries sent through it.

What we collect

The inquiry form asks for your name, company name, email address, phone number, the topic of your inquiry and your message. Name, email address and message are required; the rest are optional and the form works without them.

We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any other sensitive information through this website. Please do not send them by email either — we will ask for what a transaction needs, through a channel suited to it.

Why we collect it

• To answer your inquiry and continue the conversation it starts.
• To carry out any trade, sourcing, logistics or market-entry work you go on to instruct us to do.
• To keep the records a trading company is required to keep.

We do not use inquiry details for marketing, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us.

Where it goes

An inquiry is saved on this website and emailed to our own address. Both are under our control.

If you instruct us to act on your behalf, executing the work means sharing what it requires with other parties — suppliers or buyers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and the authorities of the countries goods pass through. This routinely means transferring your details outside Japan, including to countries whose data protection rules differ from your own. That is not incidental to the service; it is the service. We share the minimum a given step requires, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not lead to business are deleted once the conversation has clearly ended. Records connected to an actual transaction are kept for as long as tax, customs and secondhand-dealer record-keeping obligations require, and then deleted.

Cookies and analytics
